the first ever combined Sydney & Coptic Orthodox Diocese of Melbourne Youth Conference to be held in Sydney

 from Friday, February 7 to Sunday, February 9, 2020, the first ever combined Sydney & Coptic Orthodox Diocese of Melbourne Youth Conference to be held in Sydney took place at the Tops Conference Centre in Stanwell Tops.

“The Masterpiece” conference was attended by 300 youth representing New South Wales, Queensland, Australian Capital Territory, Victoria, Western Australia and New Zealand.

Their Graces Bishop Pavly, General Bishop of Alexandria and Assistant of His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Bishop Anba Daniel: Bishop & Abbot of St. Shenouda Monastery Sydney., joined the youth for the duration of the event, as did up to 20 priests – across the weekend – from both our Australian dioceses, and abroad.

Plans for the next combined conference are already underway, with it scheduled to be held in Melbourne in January 2021, God willing.

We pray that all the youth involved benefitted spiritually from this historic event. May God bless all those involved in this wonderful service for the glory of His name.
