HAPPY 13TH ANNIVERSARY SMSV!On December 15, 2007, we celebrated the inaugural Divine Liturgy of St. Maurice & St. Verena Coptic Orthodox Church (SMSV) with the presence of H.G. Bishop David and many reverend fathers from across the GTA. St. Luke’s Church in Willowdale became our home during the weekdays for approximately nine years until we moved to the new building. The newly inaugurated parish set a vision to be a ministry of love, integration, and outreach. We received special care from our beloved father, the late H.H. Pope Shenouda III, who asked H.G. Bishop David to oversee our ministry, ordain deacons, consecrate the altar vessels, and follow up on the progress of the church. We give God all the glory for preparing a home to members of all nations, ethnicities, cultures, and ages who are eager to worship God and serve our community. Thank you to our outstanding congregation that has made this the most amazing journey. We pray for many more years of giving God the glory and serving Him together.+2
