Celebrating a century of Religious Education!
On Sunday 13 May 2018 at 7 pm the Coptic Orthodox Church will celebrate the centenary of the Sunday School Movement. It was St Habib Girgis who pioneered this movement at the turn of the 20th century. The celebration will be broadcast live at 7 pm Cairo time on Coptic satellite channels and will be headed by His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, members of the Coptic Synod, Egyptian ministers, ambassadors of several countries including Australia have been invited. I am honoured that His Holiness has personally requested that I be a key speaker at this historic event. My speech is titled “St Archdeacon Habib Girgis and his Role in the Sunday School Movement.”

state, county or city municipalities. Something inn some recoverable format – a primary verbal “guestimate” is OK but something in writing is essential.
