When praying for something:

Instead of focusing on how long you’ve waited, focus on your relationship with Him. What God has prepared for you is secondary. He gave you Himself. That primary relationship entails everything else. Know He has your best interests.

Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass. (Psalm 37:5)
